Subscription Management Tool 11 Service Pack 2

SUSE® is pleased to announce the availability of Subscription Management Tool 11 SP2 for all customers worldwide. The Subscription Management Tool (SMT) for SUSE Linux Enterprise establishes a proxy system with repository and registration targets. This helps centrally manage software updates locally within the firewall on a per system basis, while maintaining corporate security policies and regulatory compliance. SMT allows for the automated tracking of SUSE Linux Enterprise subscription entitlements providing an easier and more accurate process. Through its integration with the SUSE web-based customer portal, NCC, SMT ensures that each device can receive its appropriate updates without the need to open the firewall, and without any redundant bandwidth requirements.

Einfache ZCM Migration von vielen Vorgängerversionen

Die Migration zu ZENworks Configuration Management 11.x ist von den ZENworks Versionen 4.x, 6.x und 7.x möglich. Sämtliche Tools und Wizards sind für diese Versionen zertifiziert und supported. Das Upgrade oder die Migration auf die aktuellste ZCM Version ist selbst bei den alten End-of-Life Versionen supported und die Tools dafür sind im Fileset von ZCM bereits enthalten.

Novell Data Synchronizer Mobility Pack 1.2.1

The latest update to the Novell Data Synchronizer Mobility Pack (version 1.2.1) is now available. Customers can access it from both the Novell Customer Center patch channel and Patchfinder. This is the first update since the 1.2 release in August and represents a significant focus on product quality. Customers will see improved reliability with this release--particularly with attachments and appointments. We'll continue to address customer-reported defects through our rapid release cycle. Engineering work is also beginning on our next major release, code-named "Eenou" and planned for the late Q1 timeframe.

Novell Data Synchronizer Connector for Vibe

The Novell Data Synchronizer Connector for Vibe is also releasing this week. This connector synchronizes tasks and calendars from Novell Vibe to GroupWise. In other words, it allows users to interact with their Novell Vibe team calendars and tasks directly from the familiar GroupWise interface. This connector is an entitlement for Novell Vibe and GroupWise customers with maintenance.
